In-mould coating systems for finishing PU mouldings.

The specialists of the Berlac Group offer a comprehensive range of high-performance in-mould coating systems to enhance the visual and tactile properties of PU mouldings.

In-mould coatings – even in small quantities.

In-mould coating (IMC) is well-established as a cost-effective and ecological technology that offers an integrated method of surface refinement. Using the Bomix IMC systems dispenses with expensive surface pre-treatment and post-painting.

Mould temperatures in excess of 40°C make it possible to use water-based IMC systems, so that there is no need for the use of organic solvents. The IMC process also makes for good flexibility (Shore hardness A > 15), abrasion resistance and easy release from the mould. The range also includes functional IMC systems providing flame-proofing, conductivity and tactile properties, etc.

Bomix Chemie GmbH provides all popular colour systems together with shades to match customers’ samples. Small volumes are available on request.

In-mould coatings – optically and physically persuasive.

ISL produces high-performance in-mould coatings for finishing PU mouldings. The special coatings are integrated direct when parts are being moulded.

In additional to an attractive appearance, the use of IM coatings has other persuasive advantages: the special coatings provide the finished moulding with precisely predefined physical properties in respect of resistance to abrasion and light or surface hardness, etc.

On request, ISL can match the colours of IM coatings precisely to the shade of the PU pastes used in order to provide a custom-tailored all-in-one solution.
