In close collaboration with two other proven experts in their fields of specialty, basler lacke ag has developed an inkjet solution for direct printing on polyamide and other plastic films. The innovative C2F-Jet technology (computer to foil) is composed of perfectly dovetailed system components comprising printer, ink and film. The printing process is environmentally friendly and odourless; thanks to their perfect adhesion, the printing inks do not migrate with the material as can occur with sublimation printing. 

For printing on hollow plastic parts, basler lacke ag offers industrial 3-D screen printing inks for use on high-speed screen printers with UV-curing equipment. This line of inks has been developed for printing flame-treated plastic cartridges in polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyamide (PA).

The basler lacke ag has developed water-based UV coatings to protect large-format digital prints from environmental and climatic impact. AquaClear coatings also protect against mechanical abrasion and make colours appear more brilliant. The coatings require no great investment and can even be applied after the final installation of the billboard tarpaulin at its destination, thereby offering simple and effective protection for large-format open-air advertising.
